Children's Education

At Eitz Chaim Congregation we see our children as the future leaders of the Body of Messiah, and seek to equip them to live a life pleasing to the L-rd. Our Shabbat school education is designed to equip all ages with a biblical world view, to defend the Bible, and become conformed to the image of Messiah, as they apply G-d's Word in their everyday lives.

Tot Shabbat, ages 2-5 meets in the Preschool room for lessons, music, and crafts related to the lesson.

Junior Shabbat, ages 6-9 have a lesson in the Jr. Shabbat room during the drash.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

The Eitz Chaim Bar/Bat Mitzvah Program is a 2-year bible training program designed to help strengthen the Messianic foundation for children age 11 to 13. This program requires a commitment from both the child as well as the parents. Our goal is to help prepare children to become sons and daughters of the commandments and to equip students with the skills needed to develop and mature as knowledgeable and responsible disciples of Y'Shua.

Weekly Parsha

Reading along with the weekly Torah readings is a great way to study through the Torah every year. When you do, you are studying in synchronization with all Israel. Synagogues, study halls, and Messianic congregations all over the world will be examining the same passages of Scripture along with you.
