Passover:
The 2010/5770 EC congregational Passover Seder will be on Tuesday, March 30th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Coit and LBJ. Tickets are $30 for adults and $22 for children nine years and younger.
Vegetarian meals will be available but must be ordered in advance when your ticket is purchased. Childcare will be provided by the hotel; we will need a head count on how many children will require childcare, so please let us know when you purchase your tickets.
Ticket sales begin February 20th and run through March 20th or until the event is sold out. Only 200 tickets will be available. Everyone in attendance must have a ticket, & none will be available at the door.
Next Chaverah: February 20th:
Congregation Eitz Chaim is delighted to announce that our next Chaverah on February 20, will feature a concert by a very gifted new Messianic recording artist, Michael Nicholson. We feel most honored to introduce Michael, as the evening will feature the debut of his new album, "Book of Life"!
Visit: http://www.vimeo.com/5714968 to enjoy a track of Michael's first music video, "Book of Life" from the new album. The video, shot entirely on location in Israel, features the title song which sings of Ruth telling Naomi "your people will be my people and your G-d will be my G-d." The song also portrays Zechariah 8:23 being fulfilled as Gentiles go to Messiah Y-Shua and say "we will go with you, for we have heard that G-d is with you." The new album includes 11 original songs, and we believe it is destined to become a classic. To learn more about Michael and his ministry, visit his website, www.promisedlandministries.org
We are very excited about hosting this event at our shul, and expect many guests from other congregations and churches that evening. Please mark this date on your calendar, and invite family and friends to attend. Following Havdalah, the album will be available for purchase, and dinner will be provided.
