Eitz Chaim What to Expect
Our Shabbat worship service is designed to honor the Most High G-d throughout Liturgical Torah service, vibrant Messianic musical praise & worship. The service includes traditional Hebrew liturgy (with transliteration on Power Point slides, for those who do not know Hebrew, to easily follow along); intimate times of prayer and worship; and public reading from the Scriptures (Torah, Haftara, and B’rit Chadeshah). It concludes with a drash (sermon), typically focusing on life application and lessons to take home and integrate into your daily life in practical, hopefully life-changing ways.
After services, we share a communal pot-luck meal together, and during the afternoon have Bar/Bat Mitzvah lessons, Hebrew classes, Youth Groups, and lively Bible Study/Discussions, where we are all encouraged to participate and learn together as we study G-d’s Word.
We provide a cry room for nursing mothers, sleeping infants, & caring fathers. Also, we provide Shabbat school for children.
